Airport arrival
Welcome to Canada! To help make your arrival at Toronto Pearson International Airport smooth, Georgian College recommends arrival services through a few different companies.
Airport pickup services
Airport pickup is provided by Simcoe County Airport Service or StuHomz, which are companies independent of Georgian College.
If you arrange your own accommodations, you can book shared or private airport shuttle service from Simcoe County Airport Service or StuHomz. You must book your airport pick up at least 72 hours before departure to Canada and have the address of the location you’ll be staying.
To book with Simcoe County Airport Service, please visit their online portal. You can also call 705.728.1148 or toll-free 1.800.461.7529.
To book with StuHomz, fill out a request form at least 72 hours before departure. For any questions or further assistance, email gcarrivals@stuhomz.com or call 1.437.223.2223.
Simcoe County Airport Service will be able to serve students in the following campus communities: Barrie, Orillia, South Georgian Bay (Collingwood), Midland.
Students who are travelling to the Orangeville and Owen Sound campus communities have the choice of exploring the services of Air Fleet Limousine and Aeroport Taxi & Limousine Service.
More transportation options
Public transportation may be available to these campus locations which would be a more cost effect option, however, the experience would not be a hassle free one seeing that you may be traveling with luggage. Additionally, you may also have to use multiple connecting services to get to your destination.
iCent support

For your convenience, Georgian College has partnered with iCent through the Airport Welcome Desk (AWD) at both Terminals 1 and 3 of the Toronto Pearson Airport. Students can receive assistance upon arrival regarding transportation, temporary accommodations, and orientation at this booth. The Airport Welcome Booth will be operational during the peak arrival periods for international students.
The following dates and times are tentative periods of operation for Summer 2024 students.
