Alim Remtulla

Biography
Alim joined the college in March 2024 and is accountable for driving a positive and engaging work environment with a human, heart-centred and changemaking approach.
He comes to Georgian from TELUS, where he held roles of increasing responsibility since 2017. Most recently, he was a director focused on improving the employee journey, with specific focus on recruiting, onboarding and workforce development.
Prior to this, he held leadership roles in mergers and acquisitions, organizational integration, strategy, brand marketing and product at Molson Coors and PepsiCo.
Committed to community, Alim is currently Chair of the Toronto Public Library and a board member for the Urban Libraries Council in Washington, DC. Previously, he served as a board member for Seneca College, the Federation of Ontario Public Libraries, and West Neighbourhood House.
He holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration Finance and Anthropology from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University.
