The Financial Aid and Awards presents ‘Thrifty Thursdays’, a series of workshops to help you stay on track financially.  

What is credit: Managing your score is presented by one of our Financial Aid and Awards Officers to assist you with understanding what credit is and how to manage your credit score. During this workshop, you will learn: 

  • What is a credit score and how does it affect you?
  • How do you build a credit score?
  • What happens to your score if you declare bankruptcy or file a consumer proposal?
  • How do you rebuild your credit?
  • and much more…

A free pizza lunch is provided to in-person attendees. In-person attendance is limited, and seats are given on a first come, first served basis. If you plan to attend in-person, we encourage you to bring your laptop and headset in case all seats are full. You are always welcome to attend virtually instead.
