The Career Success team at the Orillia Campus is hosting its first ever Veterinary Technician/Assistant Career Symposium on Jan. 17 from 1 to 4:00 p.m.
This program specific event is tailored for students in the Vet Technician and Vet Assistant programs but if you’ve ever wondered about a career in veterinary health care, please attend to learn more about this fast paced, in demand field!
The day will include:
- 2 guest speakers sharing their industry knowledge, trends in the field and their unique career paths.
- A career fair of industry suppliers and clinics including Ontario SPCA, The Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians and The 404 Emergency and Referral Hospital.
- The event will provide students the opportunity to build connections through networking opportunities and learn about clinics, products and services.
Registration is not required.
