It’s National Philanthropy Day: Thank you for transforming our college

Philanthropy is a powerful thing. On National Philanthropy Day (Nov. 15), we’d like to take a moment to reflect and celebrate all that’s been accomplished at Georgian because of our generous donors. We express our deepest gratitude to those who give their time, talent and resources to make Georgian the incredible place it is today.

The generosity of others can be seen every day at Georgian. Gifts to Georgian touch every corner of the college – from scholarships, state-of-the-art buildings and new research opportunities, to experiential learning, cutting-edge equipment and innovative art.

Georgian recently closed the second phase of its Power of Education campaign, which raised an amazing $54-million. More than 3,000 donors contributed to our phase two success and helped transform the student experience at Georgian in a significant way.

Combined with the success of phase one of the campaign, which raised more than $42 million, the Power of Education campaign collectively delivered an extraordinary and historic result of more than $96 million raised.
