6-1-8 Supports

As part of Georgian’s ongoing efforts to ensure financial sustainability, all academic areas are undertaking a number of options to achieve targeted cost savings.

One of these options is to optimize teaching for full-time faculty, sometimes referred to as the 6-1-8 model, which involves full-time faculty members teaching for six weeks in the semester. This is usually regarded as non-contact.
