Are you searching for the right opportunity to invest in your workforce but need some financial support?

Whether you own a small, medium or large organization, if you plan to deliver training to existing or new employees you may be eligible to receive funding. Simply choose the individual employees you want to develop, collaborate with our team to define the training required and apply.

Canada-Ontario Job Grant

Eligible employers who wish to purchase training for their employees can access direct financial support. The Canada-Ontario Job Grant provides an opportunity for employers to invest in their workforce with help from the government.

The Job Grant will provide direct financial support to individual employers who wish to purchase training for their employees. It will be available to small, medium and large businesses with a plan to deliver short-term training to existing and new employees, and will:

• provide up to $10,000 in government support per person for training costs.
• require employers to contribute one-third of the total costs. There will be additional flexibility for small businesses to provide an in-kind contribution towards their share of the costs.
• require training to be delivered by an eligible, third-party trainer.

If you’re an employer with a particular skills demand, the Canada-Ontario Job Grant might be right for you. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

In fact, we are so confident in the quality of our programs and graduates that we are offering employers a guarantee: if, within a year of graduation, a Georgian alumnus you employ is found to require additional academic preparation within the scope of their program outcomes, Georgian will cover tuition costs for that graduate to complete one Georgian credit course to retrain and improve their job-specific skills.
