Celebrating the life of Audrey Taylor

Audrey Sheridan Taylor lovingly guided students’ future career paths for over 30 years, from 1985 to 2017. In many situations, students had either learning or physical disabilities that greatly affected their outcomes. Often, they were at high risk of dropping out or not graduating. She listened to stories about their struggles and guided them through their college careers, keeping in touch with many long after graduation. Audrey truly had a vivacious personality and inspired everyone who met her.

The Audrey Taylor Memorial Award goes to students who keep trying, never give up, and always take that next step to finish their college careers. No matter the struggle, this award rewards students who seek assistance, overcome barriers and ultimately persevere.
