Concussion North: Treatment passport
Project goal: Create a web application to administer the recovery process for concussion patients.
What was done: A student researcher from the Computer Programmer Analyst program developed a custom web portal. This portal allows Concussion North’s health care practitioners to log assessment metrics, score and compare patient symptoms. Logging this data allows the practitioner to review the patient’s concussion journey and determine when to gradually integrate them back to normal activity.
What was achieved: The web portal was created allowing practitioners to easily review their patient’s concussion journey. Having this system has increased metrics, which has been a helpful aid to determine when the patient is able to return to normal activity post-concussion recovery.
