How to make the perfect snow angel
Feb. 17, 2022
Making a snow angel is a totally Canadian thing to do every winter. Here are some tips to create the perfect one:
- Look for a big patch of undisturbed snow. Fresh powder – usually after a big snowstorm – works much better than hard-packed snow.
- Carefully fall backward with your arms outstretched; try to land in a T position.
- Move your arms and legs like you’re doing jumping jacks (arms above your head and back down to your sides, legs out and then back).
- Gently press your head into the snow to make an indentation for the snow angel’s head.
- Get up slowly; try not to ruin your amazing creation.
- Take a moment to admire your hard work.
