4. You choose. We offer over 135 databases and are always trialing more.
5. You get it. If we don’t have it, we deliver it fast to you. Our ‘Get it Free’ Interlibrary Loan service is the best in Ontario colleges. Each year we fetch almost 3,000 articles for students and faculty. Never pay online.

6. We transform. Reserves are now eReserves, accessible anywhere.
7. Your dog won’t eat them. We have over 400,000 ebooks in our expanding collection.
8. You’re seated. Students can book a library computer at choice of three campus libraries.
9. You meet our cool friends. We work closely with and share a website with Academic Success.
10. You stream. We have thousands of videos on demand to support your course work.
11. You’re chatty. askON research help via chat is available 6 a.m. to midnight weekdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends. Guaranteed Georgian staff 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Library people all hours.
12. You/we talk plain language. What does copyright mean to me? Can I legally do this?
13. We share. Our Twitter and Instagram feeds are popular with students and staff.
14. We improve. We’re committed to our improvement plan and measure our progress.
15. You see us. We often are in the classroom building research and writing skills.
16. We’re popular. The APA online guide has been viewed over 25,000 times since Sept. 1.
17. We’re alumni. Many of us attended postsecondary at Georgian.
18. You ask. We respond to 140 messages a day in our mailboxes, most within minutes.
19. Zero calorie take-out. We’ve got Hold and Pick Up curbside service for the print book lovers while in-person services are limited during the pandemic.
20. We’re proud. We know our staff are the best resource we have. Sure, we said that already – and can’t say it enough!
