Dec. 8, 2015
On Nov. 10, 1975 – 40 years ago – the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald sank in Lake Superior. The entire crew of 29 was lost. It’s still the largest ship to have sunk in the Great Lakes.
CTV commemorated the loss of the Edmund Fitzgerald and its crew with this news cast featuring Georgian’s marine simulator and its manager, Jason Davenport. The simulator recreated the conditions from the night of the storm, including the view from the ship’s bridge.
