Georgian recognized for best in design in the tall pines

Georgian’s seven campuses are in a four-seasoned playground near gorgeous beaches and lush trails, with an abundance of outdoor activities and adventures waiting around every corner. There’s so much to explore! We offer a relaxed lifestyle our students appreciate, which is why many choose to live and work in Central Ontario after graduation.

We’re also located where concerts, festivals and art shows are plenty and couldn’t resist bringing a taste of college life to the Tall Pines Music and Arts Festival (2024 Tourism Event of the Year award winner) in June 2023. We wanted to show our communities how Georgian is so much more than an education – but an experience that opens doors to countless opportunities.

Against the picturesque backdrop of Lake Muskoka, we gathered with camping chairs, tasty smores created by our talented Culinary students and a curated collection of apparel and giveaways inspired by traditional Muskoka elements. We talked to festival attendees about Georgian, music and life, immersing them in a truly memorable brand experience.

We’re proud to share our creative design for the festival was recognized by the Council of Advancement and Support of Education. We’re recipient of the Best of District II Awards in the category of Design > Specialty Pieces for our Tall Pines collection. This award is a reflection of the creativity and talent of our team and it has us reminiscing about those dreamy two days in June and the wonderful connections we made with future students.
