Student receives $2,500 scholarship from industry

Karleigh Muir, a second-year Hospitality Administration – Hotel and Resort student, recently received the NEWH Scholarship Award valued at $2,500.
Over the past two years, the NEWH Toronto Chapter has provided more than $4,000 in scholarships to deserving hospitality students at Georgian.
NEWH is the premier networking resource for the hospitality industry, providing scholarships, education, leadership development, recognition of excellence, and business development opportunities. NEWH recognizes the talent and ability of students and encourages involvement in all areas of the hospitality, food service, senior living and related fields through scholarships, seminars and educational programs.
Karleigh has earned $9,000 in awards and scholarships at Georgian.
