Georgian to celebrate entrepreneurs at annual Henry Bernick Awards May 30

Georgian College’s Henry Bernick Entrepreneurship Centre is thrilled to announce the upcoming celebration of innovation and entrepreneurship at the annual Henry Bernick Awards.

Set to take place on Thursday, May 30, the event will honour outstanding achievements in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, showcasing the remarkable contributions of individuals and organizations dedicated to driving positive change and fostering innovation.

This event is a wonderful opportunity to come together to celebrate incredible achievements of our entrepreneurs and innovators, and we look forward to honouring their contributions.

Keynote speaker an advocate for youth and social change

This year’s event promises to be an inspiring celebration of entrepreneurship, featuring keynote speaker Justice Faith Betty, networking opportunities, and awards for recognition in the following categories: Student Entrepreneur, Community Entrepreneur, and Entrepreneurs’ Champion.

Betty is the co-founder of Révolutionnaire, a youth-led movement that celebrates diversity and empowers young changemakers to make a difference in their local communities and beyond. She has launched partnerships with brands like Roots, L’Oréal and Rogers, and is now collaborating with the United Nations on initiatives focused on gender equality and racial justice.
