Georgian marks 50 years of nursing education during Nursing Week

Did you know that the first graduating class of nurses at Georgian College was in 1974? During Nursing Week, which runs from May 6 to 12, we’re saluting 50 years of Georgian nursing students, alumni, faculty and staff. Thank you for your skills and abilities, compassion and leadership in interprofessional health care teams!

The nursing programs at Georgian have had a long-standing history of contributing to the health and wellness of our communities – and the excitement continues to grow as our programs expand. Our communities see the value of a local solution to the nursing human resource needs in our regions, and we at Georgian are very proud and ready to step up to the challenge.
