The Georgian Alumni Association was proud to host 225 alumni, students, staff and their family and friends for the third annual Georgian Night at the Barrie Colts Feb. 11.

Georgian Advertising and Marketing Communications students and Barrie Colts interns Chanel Crawford and Dylan Melanson, along with the Georgian Growler, helped President and CEO Dr. MaryLynn West-Moynes and Board of Governors Chair Tom McBride drop the puck. The excited crowd raised the roof with their special Alumni Association clappers, while Growler tossed Georgian T-shirts to his adoring fans during the second period. Hundreds of visitors to the game also dropped by the Georgian 50th celebration booth in the Barrie Molson Centre concourse.

Although the Colts lost, great fun was had by all! If you missed the game, join the Alumni Association at Take Me out to the Baycats game and an Argos game, both taking place this year – stay tuned for details or like the Georgian College Alumni Association Facebook page for a chance to win tickets this summer.
