Get your flu shot at the Barrie Campus Nov. 24 or 25

Flu shot clinics will be held at the Barrie Campus on Wednesday, Nov. 24 and Thursday, Nov. 25 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Protect yourself and others against the contagious (and dangerous) influenza virus by getting the flu shot.
The vaccine is free and available to everyone, and the clinics are open to all Georgian students and employees.

What you need to know
- Appointments must be pre-booked using our online system
- Complete the online consent form as part of the booking process and print it and bring it to your appointment
- Open to Georgian students and employees only; you must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination for entry into campus
- Vaccines will be administered by Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Practical Nursing students, supervised by faculty and public health
- Bring your Ontario health card; international students should bring photo ID
How to access the clinic
- Come in through J building, the Student Life Centre, by the Georgian College Students’ Association office/Alumni Courtyard
- Go through the screening station
- The clinic is located in the gym

- Check your local pharmacy
- It may also be available through your doctor, nurse practitioner or local public health unit
Anyone can catch the flu. Protect yourself – and others – by learning about the virus, taking action to prevent it, and recognizing the symptoms.
