Be here now: Georgian College Open House April 8

open houseThe doors at all seven campuses will be thrown wide open for Open House on Saturday, April 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Prospective students and their friends and families are all welcome.

Visitors will be able to attend academic information sessions and ask questions about housing options, the application process, books, financial aid, awards, scholarships and campus food options. They’ll also have a chance to meet faculty, staff and other students and learn more about programs that start in September, January or May.

Additional highlights include

 

  • Social media contest – offers participants a chance to score Georgian merchandise (one of five $100 prizes available to be won)
  • Student Life Grand Prize Draw – Attend any campus and enter for a chance to win a student prize pack worth more than $400 and including a new tablet, backpack, zip lining adventure and other gifts donated by local businesses.
  • Start your application with help from college staff, or if you’ve already applied, pay your deposit to confirm your seat.
  • Try your hand at activities connected to programs offered at the campus you are interested in
  • Learn about changes to OSAP and how mature students as well as high school grads can become eligible for financial aid
  • Discover more about academic upgrading and how to meet admissions requirements

 

Prospective students who cannot attend Open House are invited to any one of Georgian’s seven campuses for a personal tour or to attend one of our Community Night events.
