How do you tackle tough issues like homelessness, youth disengagement, food insecurity or social isolation? It takes a village.
Georgian College, Ashoka Canada and the Simcoe County District School Board are embarking on a one-of-a-kind partnership to create a Region of Changemakers. Together, they’re developing innovative ideas on how to integrate changemaking into the mindset, ecosystem and culture of Simcoe County communities.
“Our goal is to provide the tools and resources to empower individuals and organizations to make positive change happen,” says Suzie Addison-Toor, director of Georgian’s Centre for Changemaking and Social Innovation.
