Aviation students get unprecedented access in Washington
May 15, 2015
A group of Aviation Management students from Georgian has returned from a whirlwind trip to Washington, D.C.
Over the course of a week, the students were able to study a variety of current and historical aircraft at the Smithsonian Institution National Air and Space Museum in downtown Washington and at Washington/Dulles International Airport.
The students were also given unprecedented access and insight with a tour of the secure air-side operations at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
This tour, organized and led by the students, helped to foster international aviation relationships between the student body and senior airport management as well as promote a greater understanding of the opportunities available within the aviation industry.
