Admissions roadmap
You’re here in your journey to becoming a Georgian student:
What is a tuition deposit and why is it important?
A tuition deposit is required to confirm your seat in your program
Once you accept our offer, you’ll receive a confirmation/invoice letter stating your full fees and next steps.
An important next step is that you must pay a non-refundable deposit or full fees by the deadline.
Paying your fees by the deadline confirms your seat in the program – which means your spot won’t be given to another student. It also allows you access to Banner, our student information system for registration, timetables, fees, books and more.
All students are required to pay the non-refundable tuition deposit, including domestic students, international students, students receiving funding through the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP), and sponsored students (i.e., Better Jobs Ontario, Workplace Safety Insurance Board, etc.).

International | $2,500 |
Payment deadlines
The following deadlines apply to all students – domestic, international and students on OSAP:
Term | Deposit deadline |

Fall 2024 | June 15, 2024 |
Winter 2025 | Oct. 15, 2024 |
Summer 2025 | Feb. 15, 2025 |
After the posted date, your deposit deadline will be rolling, meaning decisions will be made continuously rather than on a fixed date. It’s best to check your specific deadline on your Applicant Portal as offers may be extended until all spots are filled.
What payment methods are accepted?
Credit card payments
Your minimum non-refundable tuition deposit may be paid by credit card.
You can make your tuition deposit payment from your Banner account under the fee payment section. For the balance of your fees, you can pay through your financial institution.
Note: Georgian is unable to accept full fee payments by credit card or personal/company cheque. See bank payment information to follow.
Canadian bank payments
Bank payments can be made via telephone, online banking, or in person at your branch.
- Add payee: Georgian College FEES
- Account number: Nine-digit student ID number
- Payments made at the bank on the day of the deadline will be considered on time
- Please allow three business days for your payment to be received by Georgian
Note: Only the “Georgian College FEES” option will deposit funds to pay your fees. The selection of “Georgian College ONEcard” is strictly for purchasing goods and services at any of the ONEcard partnered locations.
International payment processors
Georgian College has partnered with international education payment processors to make tuition payments easier and faster for international students.
You are offered excellent foreign exchange rates, allowing you to pay in your home currency (in most cases). In addition, the posting of the payment into your Georgian College account will be faster, and you will be notified via email when it is received.
Currently, Georgian has partnered with the following international payment processors.
When are full tuition fees due?
Domestic students
For domestic students, the balance of fees is due on the eleventh day of term.
International students
For international students, full fees are due prior to registration. See the international admissions page.

If you’re sponsored by a government agency, WSIB, employer or some other organization that is providing fees directly to Georgian College must provide a supporting letter prior to the fees due date. The letter must verify such sponsorship and provide an explanation as to how and when fees will be paid to Georgian, the amount being sponsored and for what duration. Your records will be updated to allow you to register for courses.
Some fees may not be covered under your sponsorship (i.e., parking, bus pass, etc.). Check with your sponsorship agency to see if you’re covered for these additional costs. These must be stated on your sponsorship letter. If you’re a sponsored student with a point of contact on campus (i.e., a student success advisor), be sure to contact this person upon acceptance into your program. Contact information is available through your sponsorship agency or Georgian.
