Course description

With a focus on audience-centered writing, students hone their abilities to write copy that is fit for an intended purpose and targets the desired audience. Students further sharpen their skills as they write for different digital media platforms, such as blogs and social media. To be able to produce a finished copy that is at a professional level, students demonstrate they can critique and edit content as part of the writing process.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
