Course description

In this course, students focus on video editing and how it relates to online audio/visual content. They also consider the transformative effects of social media on video platforms. Students develop the skills to edit time-lapse, stop motion and 360 videos, as well as how to use advanced audio editing tools and develop techniques that are required for media and web delivery. Students critically analyze live-action and animated videos and discuss their technical and aesthetic considerations before applying their analyses to capturing, editing, and outputting video.
