Course description

Questionnaires and focus groups are common and valuable tools which can be quick, inexpensive and accurate ways to monitor customer needs and opinions. Students apply the concepts of primary research design and process to the tourism industry. Skills in basic data collection, processing, analysis and interpretation skills using research related tools and software are developed.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
