NOTE: The software used in this course does not work on MAC products. Students with a MAC will need to manually complete PDF documents (provided by the facilitator).
This course includes an online proctored exam requiring a PC or Mac (no Chromebooks or tablets). You will need a webcam and a high-speed internet connection. Additional software may need to be installed to enable the proctor to effectively monitor your exam session remotely, which can be removed after the exam.
Course description
The course deals with the liability for income tax of individuals and corporations. The determination of net income for tax purposes, taxable income and taxes payable will be examined in detail, for unincorporated businesses and corporations. Preparation of personal tax returns will be completed in detail. The laptop computer will be used throughout this course to enhance delivery and application of the subject material.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
