Course description

In this course, students explore customer service and small business operations in their related field of study (Marine, Small Engine, and Powersports). Students develop an understanding of the parts and service department operation, parts catalogs, work order writing, manufacturer service information, entrepreneurial opportunities, and effective communication techniques.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
