Course description
In this course, students build the skills necessary to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate aviation Safety Management Systems (SMS) and emergency planning procedures. Students investigate the role that regulatory, organizational, and human factors play when incorporating a Safety Management System. Students also prepare for planning and dealing with the various types of emergencies encountered in the aviation industry.
