Course description
This consolidation experience takes place in a nursing practice setting. The focus is to consolidate previously learned nursing skills and knowledge and to function both independently and in collaboration with others when caring for individuals, families, groups and communities. Classroom time includes orientation activities and preparation for the College of Nurses of Ontario registration exams. Upon completion of the consolidation period students are ready to graduate as a caring, competent practitioners.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
