Course description
Students are introduced to the basic concepts of physics, including mechanical motion, energy and matter; wave motion and sound; heat and temperature; electromagnetic waves and light optics. Students develop technical and scientific language, mathematical, and problem solving skills. Practical environmental examples and/or laboratory experiments are used to illustrate key principles.
