Course description

This course introduces students to the factors that influence personal and societal finances. Through an understanding of basic principles, vocabulary and concepts, students adjust to changing situations by recognizing the ways that new practices or trends affect personal finance

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
