ODP Certification

Course description

This course is for students who have never been issued an ODP card by either the HRAI (Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute) or the MOE (Ministry of Environment) and are seeking certificates; and those whose last name begin with A-P who have not renewed their ODP card as of June 1, 2003.

The course deals with the environmental issues regarding ozone depleting substances used in refrigeration and air conditioning systems in order to comply with federal and provincial regulations. Course materials will be provided. Successful completion requires the individual to achieve a minimum grade of 75 per cent on the exam administered at the end of the class session.
