Observation/Documentation(ODE)
ECED 1043
This course presents the basic techniques of observation and documentation. This includes pedagogical documentation, as well as recording and interpreting the different skills and behaviours of young children (birth to age 12 years old) and using this information to then integrate children’s individual profiles. The information collected is used for educational guidance following developmentally appropriate practices in a diversity of early childhood settings.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
