Nurturing Infants and Toddlers

Course description

This course focuses on group care of children from infancy to 30 months of age. Designing and fostering a safe, inclusive and developmentally appropriate environment, which includes all seven curriculum areas, will be a major component of this course. The unique qualities, skills and supportive behaviours required to work with infants, toddlers and their families will be explored

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
