Course description

Every game must have an engaging storyline as a foundation that directs game structure and design. Every game designer needs the fundamental skills to create and organize the storyline, the characters, and the narrative. In this course, students develop the essential building blocks of game storytelling - from mapping and telling the story to writing the dialogue and building interactive tools that enhance the gameplay.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
