Media Relations

Course description
Students learn how traditional and emerging media can be used by an organization to promote its mission, values, and vision. Using proper style and genre conventions, students design a variety of media documents in order to inform and persuade a targeted audience. Individually and in groups, students deliver a comprehensive media strategy for an organization, composed to generate a positive audience response.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
