Course description
Students focus on foundational nursing practices and interventions that support and enhance healing for clients and their families. Students will investigate health promotion and nursing care of individuals and their families during the preconception, antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum periods. Students also explore growth and development and the nursing considerations required to care for the pediatric population experiencing a variety of health challenges.
