Management Principles

Course description

In this course, students are provided with a basic understanding of the role and functions of a manager and an introduction to the various philosophies, theories and techniques they use to carry out their work. In addition, ongoing changes in current business issues that have a direct influence on management are discussed.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
