Course description

Students demonstrate practical applications relating to the natural workings of fresh water aquatic ecosystems. Students learn to incorporate physical limnology, including characteristics such as secci depth and thermocline, chemical characteristics including nitrates, phosphates, dissolved oxygen and pH, and biological characteristics to measure the health of aquatic ecosystems.

Post Secondary level ENVR 2012 Ecosystems and Sampling Minimum Grade of 50

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
