Course description

Lighting is an important component of successful games. Lighting helps to build engagement and emotional connection for the player and create an atmosphere for the game. Within this course, students learn how to apply the principles and techniques of cinematic lighting using appropriate game design tools. Students also learn optimized rendering methods to enhance game performance and quality.

Post Secondary level GAME 1006 Game Texturing and Modelling Minimum Grade of 50
