Course description

The emphasis of this course is the development and practice of leadership skills. After an introduction to leadership fundamentals, students demonstrate their learning through a variety of theoretical and applied experiences leading groups. Students identify facilitative and teambuilding skills in order to develop the capabilities needed to effectively address dysfunctional team behavior in order to maximize group performance.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
