Introduction to Humanities

Students have opportunities to explore the arts including film, television, music, art, dance, theatre and literature in this introduction to culture and the arts. Students consider provocative issues in the humanities including religion, morality, happiness, death and freedom, and the ways artists from many genres and backgrounds apply their skills to make us think critically about our world.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
