Intro to the Golf Industry

Course description

In this class, students explore the golf industry and the wide variety of career opportunities found both at golf courses, and off-course businesses related to the game. Students examine the management structures and customer service levels of golf facilities and golf businesses. The course includes in-class learning, as well as multiple field trips where students gain a broader understanding of the industry through discussions with industry leaders.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
