Intro to Statistical Analysis

Course description

In this course students are introduced to elementary probability, the description and presentation of data, discrete and continuous random variables and correlation as well as some discussion of hypothesis testing. On the basis of simple data, students learn to draw conclusions and learn how to apply these conclusions to research.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
