Course description
In this second of two courses dealing with Financial Accounting, students continue to develop in-depth exposure to the Canadian accounting environment and all elements of the theoretical framework that constitute Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Students learn to apply accounting theory to liabilities, shareholder's equity, complex financial instruments, taxes, leases, pensions, earnings per share and accounting changes.

Post Secondary level ACCT 2013 Intermediate Financial Acctg 1 Minimum Grade of 50Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
