Course description

In this course, students gain in-depth exposure to the Canadian accounting environment and all elements of the theoretical framework that constitute Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Students learn to prepare financial statements for a Canadian corporation. In addition, students learn to apply accounting theory to the preparation of financial statements and to revenue, expenses, current and long-lived assets, and financial instruments.

Post Secondary level ACCT 1001 Financial Acctg Principles 2 Minimum Grade of 50
