Course description

Students are provided with a foundational overview of human structure and function from simple to complex systems, including basic medical terminology as it relates to each system. Students develop an understanding of cells and tissues and their relationship to the organization of major organ systems. Emphasis is placed on how the structure and function of the human body strives to maintain homeostasis in health and well being.
