Heating/Air Cond Science

Course description

In this course, students study the basics of sensible and latent heat, the refrigeration cycle, and psychrometrics. Students practice using formulas and interpreting data to determine the size and cost of heating and cooling equipment for residential use.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
