Course description
Students examine occupational health and safety, and safety in the workplace. Students learn safe work practices specific to working in a marina or small engine shop environment. Through identifying, correcting, and preventing problems associated with health and safety, students develop safe environments in the workplace, as well as in the home.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
