Course description

Game production follows the entire life cycle of a video game, and managing assets and resources that go into the making of a video game is a vital skill in the production process: it ensures that a finished game will be delivered on time and on budget. Game designers need to know how to manage and share game assets as part of a successful design team. In Game Engine 2, students develop the required skills to apply version control, archive, backup and optimize assets, as well as apply copyright and digital rights management to assets.

Post Secondary level GAME 2006 Game Publishing Minimum Grade of 50

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
